Information we collect

SameSide stores your email and authentication details, the players you follow, reminder preferences, timezone, viewing market, and email-delivery history. We also process basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Cookies and analytics

Essential browser storage keeps your account session, privacy choice, and accessibility preferences working. With your permission, Google Analytics and PostHog help us understand visits, device information, product actions, and technical errors. We send PostHog an opaque account identifier after sign-in, not your email address. SameSide disables PostHog automatic interaction capture and session recording, along with Google advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google Signals.

You can allow or decline analytics—and change your choice later—through the “Privacy & accessibility” control shown on every page.

How we use it

We use this information to provide your account, personalized schedules, calendar links, and requested reminders; prevent duplicate deliveries; troubleshoot failures; understand aggregate usage; and improve SameSide. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

SameSide relies on service providers for authentication, database hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, and football schedule information. They process information only as needed to provide those services.

Your choices

You can change analytics and accessibility choices from the site control and reminder settings from your Account page. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account data, email support@getsameside.app.
